About Fort Mill SC

For the election to be held on November 3, 2009, there are three (3) Fort Mill Council seats up for election.

Those seats are for

• Ward 1 (currently served by Kerry Mosher).
• Ward 3 (currently served by Larry Huntley).
• and an At-Large seat (currently served by Waddell Gibson).

The filing fee is $100 for an unopposed candidate, and $50 if there are more than one (1) candidate. Filings will be accepted in person at the York County Registration and Elections Office located at 13 South Congress Street, York, SC.

Candidate filing opens on August 5, 2009, at noon; and closes September 4, 2009 at noon.

For voting purposes, the last day to register in person is October 2, 2009, and the last day to register by mail-in is with a postmark of October 3, 2009.

Candidates that are running are:

• Ward 1 – Kerry Mosher
• Ward 3 – Larry Huntley
• At Large (1 Seat) – Guynn Hozey Savage
