Crescent Resources files bankruptcy petitions

Charlotte-based Crescent Resources, one of the leading real estate developers in the Southeast, said today it has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy petitions.The company said it will continue to operate as it tries to reduce debt and improve its capital structure.
