2008-2009 Budget

The Fort Mill School District Board of Trustees has adopted a .1 million budget for the next school year. The district will receive a small amount of additional money from the state for growth, but the state will not provide enough money to cover the costs of an anticipated growth rate of +10%. Some program costs have been reduced or eliminated as a result. On June 16, the board approved a fee for athletics. The money will be used to defray rising transportation costs and the savings will be available to hire additional employees for growth.
