I am sure you are aware of the financial crisis that exist in public education. At a recent rally at the statehouse over a thousand people turned out to tell legislators that “enough is enough” with the underfunding of public education.

On Tuesday May 4 at 5 pm there will be an opportunity for each of you to participate in a picture session letting legislators know that you will vote for those that support public education.

The group photo will be made at District Three Stadium in Rock Hill. Bring signs and fill the stadium to send a strong message to the members of the General Assembly that funding is needed at a 2010 level, not at 1994 levels. The session should not last over 15 to 30 minutes. No speeches just gather for the photo, get the picture taken and leave.

In case of rain, we will reschedule.
